Once you Pick-up a Camera, your perception changes. Life will always be a series of potential photographs .

Steven A. Avalos is an American photographer from New York City. At a young age, he acquired a flair for storytelling and learned the importance of forging connections between people and ideas.

Inspired by photographers, such as Robert Frank, Joel Meyerowitz, Miron Zownir, and Jean-Pierre Laffont, he submerged himself in candidly capturing everyday life, its characters, and its unpredictability in late 2019. Since then, Avalos has received several international accolades for his photography.

His work captures the structure and function of human society, while also conveying culture, humor, and values that unite people.

In Spring 2021, he released his first self-published photo book, Just Another Summer, which has sold-out copies throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. Several individual photographs and series derived from the book have been recognized by the Paris International Street Photo Awards, Chromatic Photography Awards, and the Annual Photography Awards respectively.

Currently, Avalos continues to work on new projects.
